The brief:

An energy sustainable, luxury family retreat.

The design and structure is sensitive to the secluded coastal river location, with an open plan layout and wide doorways, allowing freedom between inside and out.

Windows in every room maximise the stunning view, with a highlight being a hand-made oak timber window seat; perfect for curling up with a book.

Construction is sturdy, to withstand the elements for generations to come.
